Sayra DeVito will vote against any attempt to implement an income or sales tax in New Hampshire, protecting our Live Free or Die advantage that keeps families and businesses from fleeing to high-tax states. She will work to reduce the regulatory burden on small businesses and homeowners, ensuring government stays out of personal decisions about healthcare, education choices, and how you spend your own money. DeVito will fight to keep New Hampshire's property tax burden manageable by controlling state spending and preventing unfunded mandates that force costs down to local communities.
Sayra DeVito will work to reduce the property tax burden on Rockingham families by supporting the Education Freedom Account program that allows state education funding to follow students to the schools that best serve them, whether public, private, or homeschool options. She will push for transparency legislation requiring school districts to post curriculum materials and budgets online so parents can see exactly how their tax dollars are being spent and what their children are learning. DeVito will also advocate for local control by opposing unfunded state mandates that force school districts to raise property taxes to comply with programs imposed from Concord.
Sayra DeVito will vote to expand parental rights in education by requiring schools to notify parents before any curriculum changes affecting their children and ensuring parents have full access to all classroom materials. She will push for stronger penalties against those who harm children and work to reduce New Hampshire's property tax burden on families so parents can keep more of their hard-earned money to invest in their children's future. DeVito will also support legislation protecting children from inappropriate content in schools and libraries while ensuring parents maintain final authority over their children's medical and educational decisions.
